Biography
Brad Hall is an American writer, actor, producer and director. Born William Bradford Hall on 21 March 1958 in Santa Barbara, California, he began his career performing with the Practical Theatre Company in Chicago before joining the cast of Saturday Night Live from 1982 to 1984, where he anchored Saturday Night News.
As a television writer, Hall contributed an episode to the first season of Frasier in 1993. He created and served as executive producer on the sitcoms The Single Guy (1995–1997) and Watching Ellie (2002–2003). He also worked as a writer, supervising producer and director on Brooklyn Bridge (1991–1993), receiving a Primetime Emmy nomination, and co-wrote the 1995 feature film Bye Bye Love.
Hall is married to actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
