Biography
Brendan Conroy is an Irish actor. A native of Tuam, County Galway, he began his career in the late 1970s and is known for his role as Peter Cadogan in the television series The Irish RM.
Conroy has worked extensively in Irish theatre, touring internationally with the Abbey Theatre in productions including Translations, The Playboy of the Western World and The Field. He has also appeared with Red Kettle Theatre Company and other Irish companies.
His film roles include Git in Kings (2007), for which he won an IFTA for best supporting actor, Bill Evans in That They May Face the Rising Sun (2023), a Taverngoer in The Green Knight (2021) and Cob in Hokum (2026).
