Biography
Brendan O'Brien is an American screenwriter. He graduated from Georgetown University and began his screenwriting career in collaboration with Andrew J. Cohen, a friend from Scarsdale Middle School.
O'Brien co-wrote the 2014 comedy Neighbors with Cohen. The pair went on to co-write Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016), Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (2016) and The House (2017). O'Brien received a story credit on the animated film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (2023). He has also written Back in Action (2025).
