Biography
Andrew J. Cohen is an American screenwriter and film director. He was born Andrew Jay Cohen on 6 June 1977 in Scarsdale, New York, and graduated in film studies from Yale University.
Cohen has frequently collaborated with screenwriter Brendan O'Brien, a childhood friend from Scarsdale. Together they wrote the comedy Neighbors (2014), directed by Nicholas Stoller and starring Seth Rogen and Zac Efron. They also co-wrote Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016) and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (2016).
Cohen made his directorial debut with the 2017 comedy The House, which he co-wrote with O'Brien.
