Biography

Brenna Rangott is a film and television editor. Originally from Sydney’s Northern Beaches in Australia, she began her career as an assistant in local editing houses and post-production facilities. After moving to London she worked as an assistant editor on feature films, including alongside Peter Zinner, before editing short films and progressing to full-time editing roles.

Her credits include the feature Host (2020), for which she received a BIFA nomination for Best Editing, and episodes of True Detective (2014 and the 2024 season Night Country, for which she received a Primetime Emmy nomination). Other work encompasses Behind Her Eyes (2021), Chloe (2022), Dashcam (2021), Starve Acre (2023), Britannia (2019) and episodes of House of the Dragon.
