Biography
Brett Johnson is an American television writer. He joined the writing staff of the AMC series Mad Men for its second season and co-wrote the episode "The Grown-Ups" with creator Matthew Weiner in the third season.
Johnson has written episodes of Ray Donovan and co-created the 2018 miniseries Escape at Dannemora with Michael Tolkin, on which he served as showrunner. His other credits include Good Behavior and the screenplay for the 2020 film Adam. He received Writers Guild of America awards for his work on Mad Men.
