Brian Baumgartner is an American actor and director. Born on 29 November 1972 in Atlanta, Georgia, he graduated with a BFA in theatre from Southern Methodist University.

He is best known for playing Kevin Malone in the NBC series The Office (2005–2013), in which he also directed the episode 'After Hours' (2012). Other credits include Ghostbusters (2016), Foxcatcher (2014), Four Christmases (2008) and voice work in Adventure Time (2010) and Trash Truck (2020–2021).

Baumgartner has received a Daytime Emmy Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards for his work on The Office.
