Biography
Brian Buckner is an American television writer and producer. He began his career on sitcoms, contributing as a writer and producer to Spin City (1996) and joining the writing staff of Friends (1994) in its later seasons, where he received story, teleplay and writing credits on multiple episodes.
He frequently collaborated with writing partner Sebastian Jones until 2005. Buckner later worked on the Friends spin-off Joey (2004) and other series including The Class (2006). He served as co-executive producer and writer on the HBO series True Blood (2008), becoming showrunner for its final seasons, and contributed episodes to Fear the Walking Dead (2015). He is an Emmy Award winner.
