Biography
Brian Dannelly is a German-born American film director and screenwriter. Born on 18 September 1963 in Würzburg, Germany, he moved with his family to Baltimore, Maryland, at the age of eleven. He graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a degree in visual arts in 1997 and completed the directing program at the American Film Institute in 1999.
Dannelly wrote and directed the 2004 feature film Saved!. He has directed episodes of television series including Weeds, Pushing Daisies (2007), United States of Tara, Scream: The TV Series, Awkward., Insatiable, and School Spirits (2023). He has also worked as a producer on Weeds and In the Dark.
