Biography
Brian Charles Hall (20 November 1937 – 17 September 1997) was a British actor. He is best remembered for playing the hotel chef Terry in the second series of the BBC sitcom Fawlty Towers (1979).
Hall began his career on stage, appearing at the Royal Court Theatre and with the Royal Shakespeare Company. He had earlier worked as a cab driver. On screen he often played tough, Cockney characters, with notable film roles including Alan in The Long Good Friday (1980) and Terry Stokes in McVicar (1980). He also appeared in series such as Softly, Softly: Task Force, The Professionals and The Bill.
