Biography
Brian Markinson is an American actor who has appeared in numerous films and television series. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, and trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama before graduating from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1983.
Markinson began his career on stage, including a Broadway replacement role in Neil Simon's Lost in Yonkers. He is known for his performances in the HBO miniseries Angels in America (2003) as Martin Heller, the films Apollo 13 (1995), Enemy of the State (1998) and Godzilla (2014), and television series including Da Vinci's Inquest, Mad Men and Shooter (2007). He has lived in Vancouver since 1999 and frequently appears in Canadian productions.
