Biography
Brian Sheesley (born 14 April 1967) is an American animation director. He studied in the Character Animation programme at the California Institute of the Arts and began his career as a layout artist on The Ren & Stimpy Show and an animator on A Wish for Wings That Work (1991). He later worked as an animation timer on The Simpsons (1996).
Sheesley has directed episodes of The Critic (1994), King of the Hill (1997) and Futurama (1999). He served as animation director and supervising director on Camp Lazlo (2005) and has directed on The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy (2001), Fanboy and Chum Chum (2009), Disenchantment (2018) and other series. He has also worked as animation director on Regular Show and Uncle Grandpa.
Sheesley has received two Primetime Emmy Awards and three Daytime Emmy Awards.
