Biography
Bruce Adler (27 November 1944 – 25 July 2008) was an American actor and singer known for his work in Broadway musicals and animated films. Born in New York City, he made his Broadway debut as Ali Hakim in the 1979 revival of Oklahoma!.
He received Tony Award nominations for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for Those Were the Days (1991) and Crazy for You (1992). Adler also provided additional voices for Beauty and the Beast (1991) and appeared in an episode of Law & Order (1994).
His film voice work included the singing voice of the Peddler in Aladdin (1992) and its 1996 direct-to-video sequel Aladdin and the King of Thieves.
