Biography
Bruce McCulloch is a Canadian actor, comedian, writer and director. He is a member of the comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall and appeared in the group's sketch series (1988–1995) and the film Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy (1996). He began performing at the Loose Moose Theatre in Calgary and later moved to Toronto, where the troupe formed.
McCulloch wrote for Saturday Night Live and has directed episodes of television series including Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Trailer Park Boys and Schitt's Creek (2018). His feature films as director include Dog Park (1998), Superstar (1999), Stealing Harvard (2002) and Comeback Season (2006). He created the ABC sitcom Carpoolers (2007–2008).
