Biography
Burk Sharpless is an American screenwriter. He has frequently collaborated with Matt Sazama on feature films and television series.
His credits include the screenplay for Dracula Untold (2014), The Last Witch Hunter (2015) and Gods of Egypt (2016). He contributed the story for Power Rangers (2017) and developed and wrote episodes of the Netflix series Lost in Space (2018–2021). He received story and screenplay credit on Morbius (2022) and story and screenplay credit on Madame Web (2024). He is the son of John Sharpless, a Wisconsin history professor and former congressional candidate.
