Biography
Burt Bacharach was an American composer, songwriter and pianist. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on 12 May 1928 and died on 8 February 2023.
Bacharach composed scores and songs for numerous films. His credits include the music for Casino Royale (1967), What's New Pussycat? (1965), After the Fox (1966), Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), Lost Horizon (1973), Arthur (1981) and Night Shift (1982). He frequently collaborated with lyricist Hal David. He received Academy Awards for the score and song "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head" from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
