Biography
Caetano Veloso is a Brazilian singer, composer, guitarist and actor. Born in Santo Amaro on 7 August 1942, he first became known through his involvement in the Tropicalismo movement of the 1960s.
He is credited as the Singer at Party in Pedro Almodóvar's Talk to Her (2002), performing "Cucurrucucú Paloma". Other film credits include a role as Cantor in Orfeu (1999). Veloso has also appeared as himself in documentaries and television programmes.
