Biography
Calvin Wimmer is an American film editor. He began his career in the late 1990s as an assistant editor on films including South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (1999) and Any Given Sunday (1999).
Wimmer worked extensively in the editorial department on Michael Bay productions, serving as associate editor on Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011) and Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014), and as editor on Transformers: The Last Knight (2017), 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016), 6 Underground (2019) and Ambulance (2022). He also contributed additional editing to Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023). He has received two award nominations.
