Biography
Camilla Ahlgren is a Swedish screenwriter. Born on 3 July 1964 in Lund, she began her career as a teacher before entering television as a script supervisor on the long-running series Rederiet (1997–2002), where she later became head writer.
She is best known for her extensive work on the Nordic noir series The Bridge (Bron/Broen, 2011–2018), serving as writer, storyliner, script editor and head writer across its four seasons, often in collaboration with Hans Rosenfeldt. Other credits include script editor on the Millennium trilogy films (2009) and writing on series such as Quicksand (2019), Marcella (2016) and Anxious People (2021). She has created or co-created projects including Fallen and Barracuda Queens.
