Biography
Cao Juiping, also credited as Jiuping Cao, Juiping Cao or Cao Jiu-Ping, is a Chinese production designer and art director. He has worked extensively with director Zhang Yimou on films including Ju Dou (1990), Raise the Red Lantern (1991), The Story of Qiu Ju (1992), To Live (1994), Shanghai Triad (1995), Not One Less (1999) and The Road Home (1999).
He served as art director on Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) and production designer on Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004). His other credits include Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress (2002), The Sun Also Rises (2007) and Forever Young (2018).
