Biography
Carmen Machi is a Spanish actress. She began her career in theatre before gaining prominence on television as Aída García in the series 7 vidas (2000–2006) and its spin-off Aída (2005–2014).
Machi made her feature film debut in Shacky Carmine (1999) and has appeared in several Pedro Almodóvar films, including Talk to Her (2002) as Enfermera jefe, Broken Embraces (2009) as Chon and I'm So Excited! (2013) as Portera. She received the Goya Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Merche in Spanish Affair (2014). Other notable credits include The Bar (2017), Piggy (2022) and the television series 30 Coins (2020). She plays Médica in Bitter Christmas (2026).
