Biography
Carol Baum is an American film and television producer. She began her career in publishing in New York, working for Bantam Books and Random House, before moving into film development. She later served as a studio vice president at Lorimar and Twentieth Century Fox.
Baum was co-president of Sandollar Productions for ten years, where she produced films including Father of the Bride (1991), I.Q. (1994) and Fly Away Home (1996). As an independent producer she has worked on titles such as The Good Girl (2002), You Kill Me (2007) and Boychoir (2015). She has also produced several Hallmark television movies and documentaries.
She teaches producing at the USC School of Cinematic Arts and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Baum is married to writer Tom Baum.
