Biography
Howard Rosenman, also known as Zvi Howard Rosenman, is an American film and television producer. Born on 1 February 1945 in Brownsville, Brooklyn, New York, he graduated from Brooklyn College with a degree in European literature. He briefly attended medical school before serving as a medic in the 1967 Six-Day War and later worked on Broadway and in advertising before entering film production.
Rosenman produced Father of the Bride (1991), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992), The Family Man (2000) and Call Me by Your Name (2017). He served as co-president of production at Sandollar Productions and president of production at Brillstein-Grey Entertainment. His executive producing credits include the documentary Common Threads: Stories from the Quilt (1989), which won an Academy Award, and The Celluloid Closet (1995). He also appeared as an actor in Milk (2008).
