Biography
Caroline Munro is an English actress and former model. Born Caroline Jane Munro on 16 January 1949 in Windsor, Berkshire, she entered modelling after winning a 'Face of the Year' competition and made early uncredited screen appearances, including in Casino Royale (1967).
She is best known for roles in 1970s fantasy, horror and action films. These include Margiana in The Golden Voyage of Sinbad (1973), Victoria Phibes in The Abominable Dr. Phibes (1971) and its sequel, Laura in Dracula A.D. 1972 (1972), Carla in Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter (1974), Princess Dia in At the Earth's Core (1976), Naomi in the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) and Stella Star in Starcrash (1978). She also appeared in Maniac (1980).
Munro has worked in television, including hosting duties, and continues to appear in genre productions.
