Biography

Carolyn Farina is an American actress. She was born and raised in Bayside, Queens, New York, and studied acting at venues including the Lee Strasberg Institute after a semester at Queens College.

Farina had no prior professional experience when cast as Audrey Rouget in Whit Stillman's Metropolitan (1990). She reprised the role in The Last Days of Disco (1998) and appeared as Janey Archer in Martin Scorsese's The Age of Innocence (1993) and as Carolina Antonucci in Damsels in Distress (2011). She later earned a master's degree in psychology and worked as a child psychologist.
