Biography
Carson Mell is a writer, producer and director. Born in Arizona in 1980, he moved to Los Angeles in 2002 to work in film and television. He attended the Sundance Writing & Directing Labs in 2012.
His television credits include writing for Eastbound & Down (2013), Silicon Valley (2014–2019), where he also worked as story editor and consulting producer, Room 104 (2017), Tarantula (2017), which he created, Fired on Mars (2023) and Fallout (2024).
Mell wrote and directed the features Another Evil (2016) and Some of Our Stallions (2021). He co-wrote The Long Dumb Road (2018). Several of his short films were selected for the Sundance Film Festival.
