Biography
Carsten Søsted is a Danish film and television editor. Born on 28 May 1973 in Vejle, he began his career as an assistant editor at Zentropa from 1997 to 2002, working on Lars von Trier's The Idiots (1998) and Dancer in the Dark (2000), as well as films by Per Fly and Susanne Bier.
Since becoming freelance, Søsted has edited numerous Danish television series, including The Killing (2007), Dicte (2013), Follow the Money (2016) and DNA (2019). He has also edited feature films such as Nothing's All Bad (2010) and Ninna (2019), and contributed to documentaries. He co-wrote the award-winning short Little Man (2006) and co-directed the documentary Danish Dynamite (2008).
