Biography
Catherine Apple is an American film editor specialising in animation. She joined Pixar Animation Studios in 2015 and served as lead editor on the features Onward (2020) and Luca (2021).
Her earlier credits as editor include Gnomeo & Juliet (2011), Hotel Transylvania (2012) and Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015). She previously worked as an assistant editor at studios including Warner Bros. Feature Animation, DreamWorks Animation and Disney Feature Animation. Apple holds a BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts. She grew up in Marquette, Michigan.
