Biography
Cathy Ladman is an American stand-up comedian, television writer and actress. She was born on 15 October 1955 in the United States. A native New Yorker now based in Los Angeles, she began performing stand-up in New York comedy clubs including the Improv.
Ladman has made multiple appearances on The Tonight Show and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and received an American Comedy Award for Best Female Stand-Up Comic in 1992. She wrote for the series Roseanne (1996) and Caroline in the City (1997), and contributed to an episode of The King of Queens. Her acting credits include guest roles in Modern Family (2009) as Dr. Green, Mad Men (2007) as Gladys, Pretty Little Liars (2010) as Mrs. Horowitz, How to Get Away with Murder (2014) as Helen Bass, Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000) as Cathy, Everybody Loves Raymond (1996) as Lilly, and films such as Moonstruck (1987), Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (1991) and White Oleander (2002).
