Biography
Charlotte Coleman was an English actress. Born Charlotte Ninon Coleman on 3 April 1968 in London, she trained at the Anna Scher Theatre and began her career as a child performer. She gained international recognition for her role as Scarlett in the 1994 film Four Weddings and a Funeral.
Coleman was also known for playing Jess in the 1990 television drama Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit, for which she won a Royal Television Society award, and for earlier television roles including Sue in Worzel Gummidge and the title character in the Marmalade Atkins series. She received BAFTA nominations for both Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit and Four Weddings and a Funeral. Coleman died on 14 November 2001 in London, aged 33.
