Biography
Charlotte Regan is a British film director and screenwriter. She was born on 19 June 1994 in London and graduated from Ravensbourne University London with a BA in Digital Film Production in 2016.
She began directing music videos at the age of 15 and has directed more than 200. Her early short films include Standby (2016), which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and received a BAFTA nomination, as well as Fry-Up (2017) and Dodgy Dave (2018).
Regan wrote and directed her debut feature Scrapper (2023), which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival where it won the Grand Jury Prize in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition. She has also directed episodes of the television series The Buccaneers (2023) and The Responder (2022).
