Biography
Chris Black is an American screenwriter and television producer. He has written and produced episodes of numerous series, beginning in the 1990s with credits on shows including Weird Science, Sliders and Xena: Warrior Princess.
Black wrote for Star Trek: Enterprise and Desperate Housewives, and co-wrote the 1997 film Masterminds. He served as executive producer and writer on Severance (2022), for which he won two Writers Guild of America Awards. With Matt Fraction, he co-created and showruns Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (2023).
