Biography
Chris Burt (1942–2020) was a British producer, editor and director. He began his career as an editor on television series including The Sweeney (1975), for which he edited 17 episodes, and later directed one episode of the series. He also directed episodes of The Professionals (1977).
As a producer, Burt worked on several notable British television productions. These included Reilly: Ace of Spies (1983), Inspector Morse (1987), The Woman in Black (1989), Goodnight, Mister Tom (1998) and Lewis (2007). He served as executive producer on the feature film Revolution (1985).
