Biography

Chris Noth is an American actor. He trained at Marlboro College and the Yale School of Drama.

He is known for his television roles as Detective Mike Logan on Law & Order (1990–1995) and its spin-off Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2005–2008), and as Mr. Big on Sex and the City (1998–2004). He reprised the latter role in the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). Noth appeared as Jerry Lovett in Cast Away (2000) and as Peter Florrick on The Good Wife (2009–2016). He received Golden Globe nominations for his work on Sex and the City and The Good Wife.
