Biography
Chris Sievernich is a German film producer. Born on 10 December 1946 in Frankfurt am Main, he entered the industry in the late 1970s as a production manager and joined Wim Wenders’ Road Movies Filmproduktion as a partner in 1979. He produced several of Wenders’ films in the early 1980s, including Paris, Texas (1984).
In 1987 Sievernich produced The Dead, directed by John Huston. He later worked as executive producer or producer on films including Nurse Betty (2000), The Wedding Planner (2001) and Tamara (2005). He served on the jury of the Berlin International Film Festival in 1985 and has been inactive as a producer since 2007.
