Biography
Christian M. Goldbeck is a German production designer. He studied production design at the HFF Konrad Wolf in Potsdam-Babelsberg and graduated with a BA in architecture from the University of East London. He has worked as a freelance production designer since the early 2000s.
Goldbeck is known for his work on films including All Quiet on the Western Front (2022), for which he shared an Academy Award for Best Production Design, The Reader (2008), Heidi (2015), The Perfect Secret (2019) and Krabat (2008). He has collaborated repeatedly with directors such as Hans-Christian Schmid and Karoline Herfurth, and received multiple nominations for the German Film Prize.
