Biography

Christie Wittenborn is an American costume designer working in film and television. She is based in Los Angeles and has a background in theatre and liberal arts.

She received her first major credit as costume designer on the independent feature Me and You and Everyone We Know (2005), directed by Miranda July. Subsequent feature credits include The Future (2011), Camp X-Ray (2014), We Are Your Friends (2015), Dirty Grandpa (2016) and Night Swim (2024). Television work encompasses Penny Dreadful: City of Angels (2020), Hunters (2023) and the series Sugar (2024).

Earlier in her career she worked as an assistant costume designer and in the costume department on films including The Good Girl (2002), Shopgirl (2005) and Where the Wild Things Are (2009).
