Biography
Christopher Murphy Carley, sometimes credited as Chris Carley, is an American actor. He was born on 31 May 1978 in Suffern, New York. He graduated from Pearl River High School in 1996 and studied at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, with training at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School and the Experimental Theatre Wing.
Carley made his Broadway debut in 1998 in The Beauty Queen of Leenane, taking over the role of Ray, and appeared in Once in a Lifetime. He is known for the role of Father Janovich in Gran Torino (2008). His other credits include Garden State (2004), Lions for Lambs (2007), Miss Nobody (2010) and television appearances in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Veronica Mars, House and The Sopranos.
