Biography
Christopher De Vore is a screenwriter. He co-wrote the screenplay for The Elephant Man (1980) with Eric Bergren and David Lynch, adapted from the memoirs of Frederick Treves and a book by Ashley Montagu.
De Vore also received writing credits on Frances (1982) and Hamlet (1990). He was nominated for an Academy Award, a BAFTA Film Award, a Golden Globe and a Writers Guild of America Award for his work on The Elephant Man.
