Biography
Chuck Klein, also credited as Charles A. Klein, is an American animator, director, writer and producer. Born on 17 June 1964 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he has worked in animation for over two decades.
He directed three episodes of Family Guy in 2005–2006, including 'Blind Ambition' and 'Brian Sings and Swings', as well as episodes of The Cleveland Show and the series Stuart Little. He has also served as a storyboard artist, writer and storyboard director on SpongeBob SquarePants (1999–2009), The Amazing World of Gumball, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and My Life as a Teenage Robot.
Klein has contributed as a story artist to feature films including Smallfoot (2018) and Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers (2004), and worked as head of story on Plankton: The Movie (2025).
