Biography
Dan Povenmire is an American animator, director, writer, producer and voice actor. He directed episodes of the animated series Family Guy (1999), including several in the 'Road to...' sequence, and contributed to other animated programmes such as SpongeBob SquarePants (1999), Rocko's Modern Life (1993) and Hey Arnold! (1996).
With Jeff 'Swampy' Marsh, Povenmire co-created the Disney series Phineas and Ferb (2007), in which he voices the character Dr Heinz Doofenshmirtz. He also co-created Milo Murphy's Law (2016) and created Hamster & Gretel (2022). Povenmire was born on 18 September 1963 in California and studied at the University of Southern California.
