Biography
Bob Bowen is a Canadian animator and director. He grew up in Saskatchewan and moved to the United States in 1995 to attend art school, settling in Los Angeles in 1998. He began his career in animation with storyboard work before moving into directing.
Bowen has directed episodes of Family Guy (2012–2014), American Dad! (2007–2011) and Milo Murphy's Law (2016–2019). He served as supervising director on Hamster & Gretel (2022–2025) and directed Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe (2020), which he also co-wrote. His wife, Karin Perrotta, has worked as an associate producer on Family Guy and The Cleveland Show.
