Biography

Claudio Scarchilli (10 February 1924 – 25 July 1992) was an Italian film actor from Rome. He appeared in nearly twenty films during the 1960s, often in small or uncredited roles.

He is best known for his appearances in Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns, including as Pedro, a member of Tuco's gang, in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) and as a member of Frank's gang in Once Upon a Time in the West (1968). Other credits include The Hellbenders (1967), in which he played an Indian chief, Bandidos (1967) and Compañeros (1970).

His brother Sandro Scarchilli was also an actor and appeared in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
