Biography
Cliff DeYoung is an American actor and musician. Born in Los Angeles, he graduated from California State University, Los Angeles in 1968. He was the lead singer of the 1960s rock group Clear Light before moving into acting, appearing in the Broadway productions of Hair and the Tony Award-winning Sticks and Bones.
After several years in New York, DeYoung returned to California and starred in the 1973 television film Sunshine and its subsequent series. He has appeared in more than 80 films and television series, including Flight of the Navigator (1986), Shock Treatment (1981) and Glory (1989), in which he played Col. James M. Montgomery.
