Biography
Colin Stetson is an American saxophonist, multireedist and composer based in Montreal. Born on 3 March 1975 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, he studied at the University of Michigan School of Music on a full scholarship.
He is known for solo albums such as the New History Warfare series and collaborations with Arcade Fire, Bon Iver and others. Since 2013 he has composed scores for several films and series, including Arrival (2016), Hereditary (2018), Color Out of Space (2020), The Menu (2022) and Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022).
