Biography
Colton Dunn is an American actor, writer and comedian. Born on 30 June 1977 in Normal, Illinois, he trained in improv comedy and performed with the group Boom Chicago in Amsterdam before moving to Los Angeles.
He is known for his recurring role as Garrett McNeill on the NBC series Superstore (2015–2021) and for his work as a writer, producer and occasional performer on the Comedy Central sketch series Key & Peele (2012–2015). Dunn has also appeared in Parks and Recreation (2009) and The Recruit (2022).
Dunn wrote an episode of the Apple TV+ series Widow's Bay (2026), on which he also served as supervising producer. He received Emmy nominations for his writing on Key & Peele.
