Biography
Conrad Brooks, born Conrad Biedrzycki on 3 January 1931 in Baltimore, Maryland, was an American actor. He moved to Hollywood in 1948 with two brothers and began appearing in films directed by Edward D. Wood Jr. after meeting the filmmaker.
Brooks appeared in several of Wood's productions, including Glen or Glenda (1953), Jail Bait (1954), Bride of the Monster (1955), Night of the Ghouls (1959), Plan 9 from Outer Space (1959) as Patrolman Jamie and The Sinister Urge (1960). He also played a bartender in Tim Burton's Ed Wood (1994). He continued acting in low-budget films into his eighties.
Brooks died on 6 December 2017 in Martinsburg, West Virginia, aged 86.
