Biography
Craig Bolotin is an American screenwriter and film director. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, where he studied philosophy and wrote film reviews.
Bolotin began his career with an uncredited rewrite on Desperately Seeking Susan (1985). His first original screenplay was No Small Affair (1984). He wrote Black Rain (1989), co-wrote Straight Talk (1992), and wrote and directed That Night (1992) and Light It Up (1999). He also wrote the screenplay for The Longest Ride (2015).
Bolotin wrote and directed the episode 'One Way Ticket' of the series Miami Vice (1986). He wrote and directed the short film Sapphire Man (1990), which screened at Sundance.
