Biography
Damian Young is an American actor born in Washington, D.C. He attended Kenyon College and moved to New York in 1984, where he became a core member of the Cucaracha Theatre Company and performed in Broadway, off-Broadway and regional theatre productions.
Young is known for film roles including Gabriel in Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014), the Green Army-Jacketed Man in Unbreakable (2000), Mr. Winthrop in The Greatest Showman (2017), David Welch in Ocean's Eight (2018), Howard Ackerman in The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020) and Sam Rice in I Care a Lot (2021). On television he has played recurring parts in The Comeback (as Mark Berman), Californication (as Bill Lewis), House of Cards (as Aidan Macallan), Ozark (as Jim Rattelsdorf) and Snowpiercer (as Mr. Headwood). His early television work includes Stu Benedict in The Adventures of Pete & Pete (1993–96).
