Biography
Damon Hines is an American actor. He is known for playing Nick Murtaugh, the son of Roger Murtaugh, in all four films of the Lethal Weapon series (1987–1998). His other film roles include Scooter Lindley in The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension (1984), Steven Cooley in Scrooged (1988), and Ronnie Turner in What's Love Got to Do with It (1993).
Hines received two Young Artist Award nominations for his early work. He later earned a BA in Communication Studies from Loyola Marymount University (where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi), an MA in Communication Studies from California State University, Los Angeles, and an EdD in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Southern California. He has worked as a clinical assistant professor and lecturer in communication studies at institutions including Loyola Marymount University.
